Boyfriend (보이프렌드) was a boy group from Starship Entertainment who debuted on May 26, 2011. “Love Style” is a bright and colorful track that’s perfect for long summer days. Unfortunately, they recently announced their disbandment after eight years of being an active group.

was a four-member girl group who debuted in 2011. At debut, they known for being the first K-Pop group to have members of mixed race. By the time they started promoting “Black Tinkerbell”, they were thought of more for their music than for being a group with Korean-American members. Unfortunately, they disbanded in 2017.
May 31st, 2013 Skarf released the single album: Luv Virus
Skarf (스카프) was a girl group active between 2011 and 2014. The group was formed by Alpha Ent. who in 2010 alongside JYP Ent. held auditions in Singapore and Hong Kong where they found 3 girls who where sent to Korea to become trainees, only two of them managed to get trough the intense training and got put tog heter with Korean trainees to debut as Skarf in 2012. ‘’Luv Virus’’ was their first mini album, and the groups first release as a 5 member group, it also became the last release the group ever made, due to a member of the group leaving in 2014 and the group quietly disbanding.
M.I.B (엠아이비) was a four-member boy group from Jungle Entertainment. 2012 was a very rough year for M.I.B. even with the year having a great start with the group being the opening act of the Highlight Festival, and later opening for will.i.am at his show in Seoul. All seemed well and they where preparing for their new album release. On April 5th, a fire broke out in their dorms, it resulted in 3 deaths, all who died where stylists, two of them died immediately while the last one succumbed to their injuries after being admitted to the hospital. M.I.B. where all safe and their comeback was pushed back to give them time to mourn their losses and to honour the families of the lost ones.
HISTORY (히스토리) was a five member boy band under LOEN Entertainment. They were LOEN’s first ever boy group, which included a former member (Na Do-kyun) of rock band Buzz. This mini album was their second to last release before their disbandment on May 12, 2017.

DMTN (달마시안) was a seven-member boy group who debuted in 2010. “E.R.” is one of their most recognizable tracks, due to it being a beautiful ballad and for it having an engaging music video. Unfortunately, the group ended up going on hiatus in 2013 and hasn’t been active as a group since.

May 16th, 2012 Gangkiz debuted with their first mini-album: We Became Gang
Gangkiz (갱키즈) debuted as a seven-member girl group in 2012. If you pay attention to their promotional images around that time, you’ll notice that they visited Europe and that they shot their teaser video there. Unfortunately, their company didn’t keep up the momentum of catching the interest of the public, and most of the members left about a year later. Interestingly, their disbandment was never officially announced, but they’re thought to have split in 2014.
BTL (비티엘) was a boy group who debuted in 2014. BTL was short for “Beyond the Limit” and was meant to be about the members being able to go beyond their limits. This was the only promotion they did as a group, and they later disbanded in 2016.
May 14th, 2013 Wonder Boyz released their first digital single: Tarzan
Wonder Boyz (원더보이즈) was a four-member group that debuted in 2012. Fans quickly fell in love with “Tarzan” due to its pleasant track and smooth choreography. In addition to the song itself, fans enjoyed the music video’s story line about a guy who has a crush on a girl, but worries that he’s too unattractive to talk to her until he gains courage to talk to her in the end. They disbanded 2014, and although the exact reason was never stated, it has been confirmed that there wasn’t a problem between the members.

May 13th, 2015 K-Girls released their second single: Queen
K-Girls (케이걸즈) was the first group to debut with all members having participated in the Miss Korea pageant. Right before debut, one member was missing from promotions, and ended up being the first member to leave. “Queen” was their last promotion before disbandment.
